Team Kiwi considers switch to Ford

26/07/2006 13:16:03

A test for die-hard Motorsport and Holden fans, with the possibility of a Team Kiwi switch to Ford.

Ford has approached New Zealand's V8 Supercars team about a move from Holden, which could give valuable factory backing to the privateer team.

Team Kiwi boss David John says they are happy with Holden but all options need to be explored. He says they have got to do what they can to win more races in the championship.

David John says no decision has been made as yet, but whatever brings them better performance and results is obviously best for their sponsors and fans.
