There will be all sorts of commercials grabbing attention during today's Super Bowl final, but one will not be anything like the rest.
More than 100 million people will tune in to watch the New England Patriots versus the Seattle Seahawks... and as usual, there's plenty of attention on the companies which have paid the exorbitant cost of an ad during the halftime break.
US correspondent Jack Tame told Newstalk ZB's Andrew Dickens this year, the NFL has given a halftime slot to a public service announcement about domestic violence.
"The NFL's been rocked by several scandals in regards to domestic violence.
"It's trying to improve its image around the country, so as well as all of your standard Coke ads and your Budweiser ads or ads for new Fords, expect a PSA for domestic violence."
