Disgraced entertainer Rolf Harris has dethroned a notorious Radio and TV Personality as Australia's most hated person.

Harris, who's serving six years in jail for sexual assault, tops the list, one place ahead of Prime Minister Tony Abbott.

D.J Kyle Sandilands was the most hated last year, but has slipped down to third place.

Last year singer Lorde slammed Kyle Sandilands as "homophobic."

Other politicians to make the list of least popular identities include Pauline Hanson, and Treasurer Joe Hockey.
