Russia did shoot down MH17 over Ukraine, according to a new report.Â
An international team of investigators says detailed analysis has established a Buk missile which hit the airliner nearly four years ago came from a Russian-based military unit.
Dutch police say the missile was from the Russian military's 53rd anti-aircraft missile brigade based in the Russian city of Kursk.
All 298 passengers and crew were killed, including 38 Australian residents.
Russia has always denied involvement in the downing of the jet.
