The latest poll suggests the Liberal National Party will hold on to power in Queensland when the votes are cast today.

According to a ReachTel poll, which was commissioned by Network Seven and released yesterday, the LNP has 52 per cent to Labor's 48 on a two-party preferred basis.

The LNP received 41.5 per cent to 37.2 on first preferences, with The Greens gaining the most of the minor party support, at 7.5 per cent.

The poll also highlighted growing discontent with Premier Campbell Newman, whose performance was rated as very poor by 35.7 per cent of respondents.
