Movie World on the Gold Coast has closed one of its biggest rides to find out why 20 thrill-seekers were left dangling.
It was an hour-and-a-half before they could be brought down from a faulty rollercoaster.
Nobody was hurt but some felt the effects of 30 degree-plus heat.
General Manager Greg Young says the ride passed an audit last year after four people died at Dream World.
"This is a typical safety stop for us... Our team are trained to do these evacuations."
