A new east coast low is threatening to deliver more extreme weather to the NSW coast.
It's not expected to be as intense as the low that caused last week's devastating storms which killed four people and caused widespread flooding and damage from the mid-north coast to the Illawarra.
But, Australia's weather bureau has warned everyone will need to be on alert from Thursday, with the possibility the system will track south towards the Hunter and Sydney metropolitan areas.
