Europe's tainted egg scandal has now spread to 17 countries, including Hong Kong.
Eggs contaminated with an insecticide have already been distributed right through the European Union.
They came from poultry farms where Fipronil has been used in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and France.
Fipronil is a veterinary product used for getting rid of fleas, lice and ticks in animals.
But it is banned from use on animals destined for human consumption, because it can cause damage to the liver, thyroid glands and kidneys.
