Durban's lost its hosting rights after failing to meet its financial obligations.

Liverpool is so far the only city to express an interest in staging the Games.

New Zealand's CGF vice-president Kereyn Smith believes the Federation will make a decision on the 2022 host city soon.

She said they will want to have it tidied up in a few months and they are optimistic there are cities interested and capable of meeting the requirements.
