According to conspiracy theorists, the Rapture is not upon us ... yet.

Online media this week have been reporting the world was going to end tomorrow,

However, the man quoted, Christian conspiracy theorist David Meade, says its all fake news.

He told the Guardian the rapture will occur at some point between May and December of this year.

He could not specify a more specific date.

Meade had previously predicted the end of the world last September and October.

Rest assured, Meade says even the rapture won't signify the end of the world.

He says it'll merely bring seven years of "tribulation", followed by a thousand years of peace and prosperity, before the world is completely destroyed.

The rapture would be marked by the return of Jesus, who would save his followers.
