The British Army is setting up a specialist brigade which will use social media and psychology to undermine its enemy.
The unit will take the name of the famous Chindits...who fought behind enemy lines in Burma.
Military analyst Tom Ripley says the Internet is a battlefield where traditional military operations haven't done well so far.
"In Iraq and Afghanistan, the militants - the Taliban - ran rings around the British Army and this kind of thing.
"And Islamic State are doing the same of similar in Iraq and Syria at the moment.'
