A costly slap on the wrist for Australia's second-largest supermarket chain.
The Australian competition watchdog has reached an 11.25 million dollar settlement with Coles, after it agreed to accusations of squeezing funds from suppliers.
Correspondent Donna Demaio says Coles decided it would fill its so-called profit gaps.
She says small suppliers were forced to pay, or risk losing the business of the supermarket.
