The chief executive of cheating website Ashley Madison has stepped down, in the wake of a hacking scandal.
Parent company Avid Life Media, which operates the infidelity network, said on Friday that it and CEO Noel Biderman were in "mutual agreement" about the split.
"This change is in the best interest of the company and allows us to continue to provide support to our members and dedicated employees," Avid Life Media said.
Personal data exposing 32 million members of the site has been released by the hackers.
