Updated 9.52am: Chaotic scenes, a heavy shake, and screaming as passengers realise what's about to happen to them.

A video has been discovered on a SIM card found in the wreckage of the Germanwings Airbus crash showing the final seconds of the flight before it was flown into the French Alps.

It's been revealed today by Germany's Bild and France's Paris Match magazines.

CNN's Frederik Pleitgen says the video was shot from the back of the plane and supports audio transcripts that the pilot was banging on the cockpit door with a heavy object.

"The passengers on board the flight seem to be aware of the predicament they are in."

Then the plane is jolted to the side as the right wing hits mountains, and the screaming intensifies.

But CNN's Karl Penhaul says investigators claim that can't be so.

"They categorically deny that any material from those cellphones has yet been extracted. That job just hasn't been done yet."

CNN's Karl Penhaul reports from the crash site that investigators say the story can't be true.

"None of that cellphone material, none of the parts of the cellphones recovered, have been sent to Paris yet. They're still here."
