A Wellington city Councillor is calling the big eight projects on the Council's Long Term Plan a wish list.
Council is set to approve the plan today, to go out for public consultation.
But Helene Ritchie says the plan is not yet fit for public consultation.
"My major concerns are around a completely unrealistic wish list, with significant ratepayer funds without proper examination for most of them."
She says she is not the only one with concerns over the projects.
"I have been approached by a number of Councillors who have concerns. I hope to bring them together to have a closer look at the budget."
The big eight projects include a new convention centre, film museum and the airport extension.
