New Zealand's successful Winter Olympics athletes touch back down in the country today.
Bronze medal winners Nico Porteous and Zoi Sadowski-Synnott are among the athletes flying into Auckland Airport and greeting fans about 9:30am.
Communications director for the New Zealand Olympic Committee Ashley Abbott says they are expecting a big contingent of family, friends, fans and the media to greet them.
Abbott says after interaction with fans, Nico and Zoi will then have a presentation at the Olympic Committee building.
"We have got a kapa haka group from a local school coming in that will be really special for the athletes. Then we will be back into the city, to the New Zealand Olympic Committee where we will have a formal presentation to acknowledge the huge achievements that they and the team made in Pyeongchang."
Abbott says all the athletes are looking forward to the reception.
"We have got some beautiful portraits of them taken from the games on the day that they both won their medals in Pyeongchang, so we will be presenting them with those."
