Lydia Ko started the day in a share of 14th place at one under par.
She's now one over par for the tournament in 59th, a shot inside the projected cut line.
Elsewhere Danny Lee will be cut from the PGA Tour's first FedEx Cup Playoff event in New York.
The Kiwi is three shots behind the cut line at five over par after a one over 71 second round at the Glen Oaks Club.
