All Blacks coach Steve Hansen has spoken in support of TJ Perenara's Tweet condemning the derogatory comments of Wallabies rugby player Israel Folau on homosexuality.

Hansen and the All Blacks have wrapped up their foundation days today, ahead of June's test series against France.

When asked about the matter, Hansen says he's proud of Perenara for speaking out.

"What he did tweet was on the money, that you are good human being regardless of whether you are a gay person or a straight person."
