The Silver Ferns have come back after trailing to England's Roses at half time to clinch the Taini Jamison Trophy series.
The win means the trophy will stay in New Zealand.
After trailing 30-26 at halftime the Ferns fought back with the charge led by Captain Katrina Grant.
Grant who was playing her 100th test for the side, battled to keep up the defense in a back and forth exchange with the Roses attacks.
England's shooters had kept up an impressive tally but conceded a few turnovers in the last quarter.
A missed attempt at goal by shooter Jo Harten with under four minutes left gave the Silver Ferns the time and space to pull ahead and consolidate the win.
