Speedy utility back Braydon Ennor has signed a two-year deal with the Crusaders, linking up with the Super Rugby champions from the 2018 season.

Originally from Auckland, the 20-year-old joined the Crusaders Academy in 2015 and has been selected for Canterbury in this year's national provincial championship.

He was also part of the New Zealand Under-20 team that lifted the Junior Rugby World Cup in Georgia in June.

Crusaders coach Scott Robertson says Ennor's skill set offered versatility to the squad.

"Braydon is a really dynamic player, who can play wing, mid-field or full-back."

"He is genuinely fast, and knows his way to the try line, which he has shown in his rugby this season at club, under-20s and in Mitre 10 Cup."

Ennor, who has been on the wing for Canterbury, is set to turn out in the Ranfurly Shield defence against Counties Manukau in Christchurch on Wednesday night.
