Lisa Carrington's picked up two medals in the space of one hour at the Canoe Sprint World Championships in the Czech Republic.
The double Olympic champion faded down the home stretch to settle for silver in the K1 500 metre final, before teaming up with Caitlin Ryan to win gold in the K2 500 metres final.

"It's amazing, I mean a few months ago I didn't really know I was going to do this event. I've been training Caitlin for a few months so it's been pretty awesome."
Ryan was confident Carrington would rise above her busy schedule.
"I don't think I've ever doubted her. I think everyone here can see how much an amazing athlete she is and for me to doubt her would be ridiculous."
Lisa Carrington will race in the final of the K1 200 and K4 500 tonight.
