The All Blacks have overcome a first half scare to remain unbeaten in the Rugby Championship.
Down 16-15, New Zealand's scored three second half tries to defeat Argentina 39-22 in New Plymouth.
First five Beauden Barrett said they were sloppy.
"Let's be honest we weren't clinical enough in the first half and it was disappointing and even at stage in the second half, but we found a way to grind back into the game and quite often it's just doing the simple things well."
Nehe Milner-Skudder, Anton Lienert-Brown, Israel Dagg, Damian McKenzie and Beauden Barrett all crossed for the hosts, while Barrett also received a yellow card in the second half.
