John Stringer has resigned as a board member of the Conservative Party.
His resignation has been received by Party Secretary Nathaniel Heslop.
Heslop said Stringer still supports Conservative principles and policies.
Stringer was instrumental in Colin Craig's decision to step down last month.
Since then the rest of the board has gone.
Board elections will be held later this year, and in the meantime a provisional board has been established.
