John Key has been taken to task by Parliament's Speaker, for dodging questions on 'Dirty Politics'.
Mr Key is refusing to reveal how many times he's called or texted Whale Oil blogger Cameron Slater, saying he'd never done so in his capacity as Prime Minister.
Speaker David Carter's backed him there. However, he says Mr Key needs to give "informative answers" about nasty remarks he's alleged to have made to Mr Slater about a woman he'd seen at Pike River meetings.
"To simply say that I am not going to describe conversations I have in a capacity other than as Prime Minister is not acceptable where the question is linked to matters of ministerial responsibility."
