UPDATED 5.19PM: The Government's continuing to keep its cards close over its potential military involvement in Iraq.
Late last year the Prime Minister released heavily redacted papers about advice he'd received on the Syria-Iraq conflict, ISIS and our potential involvement.
However both Foreign Minister Murray McCully and Defence Minister Gerry Brownlee are now refusing to release any papers - citing national security and international relation concerns.
The Prime Minister says a decision on the commitment remains a few weeks away.
"Scoping work is still being undertaken by Defence," he says.
"Ministers will take their findings into account alongside advice from MFAT and other relevant agencies."
