UPDATED 4.57PM: The Prime Minister's promising his Government's plans for social housing and state houses will be made clearer soon.
John Key's due to give a speech in Auckland tomorrow that will outline the next steps of the Government's proposed social housing plans.
"We'll be broadly giving you an indication of what we think the makeup of social housing will look like and the sort of broad mix between new housing providers and Housing New Zealand," he says.

But the Greens are alrady demanding revenue raised from state house sales be used for government built homes.
It comes as the Prime Minister's due to release further details on his Government's social housing policy plans tomorrow.
Green MP Kevin Hague is criticising the policy saying the Government's devolving its housing responsibilities to the private sector.
"What that sounds like is a return to Victorian England," he says.
"It's a return to the days before we had a welfare state where government took on that role of ensuring that everyone had a fair go."
He's demanding the revenue be ring-fenced and every dollar raised be spent on new housing.
