The National Party has a healthy lead over its rivals, but combined its opponents pose it some problems in a new opinion poll.
A 3News-Reid research Poll has the National Party polling 47 percent support among those surveyed - well ahead of Labour which has score just over 31 percent support.
However the three main opposition parties manage to poll combined support of over 50 percent - enough to form a government.
The Greens are on 11.4 percent support and New Zealand First is on 8.4 percent.
National's current support partners are all polling under 1 per cent.
