He's left Parliament, but self-appointed social media commentator Tau Henare must be missing the lime light.

He's fired off a tweet guaranteed to get a reaction - and it has.

The former MP has asked if Lorde has epilepsy - a reference to her dance moves at the American Music Awards last night.

It was a performance of her new Yellow Flicker Beat song that otherwise garnered near universal praise.

His tweet's sparked a rebuke from new deputy Labour leader Annette King ... who's said ... “come on Tau that’s nasty. Both to Lorde and to those who suffer epilepsy.”
