Crown finances remain in the red but they're tracking in the right direction.
The Government's financial statements for the five months ending November show revenue was below forecast with the tax take 138 million dollars lower than forecast.
However, compared with the same time last year the revenue was almost seven percent ahead of where it was.
The tight reign on Government spending has seen the figures coming in at 67 million dollars better than expected, leaving a cash deficit of 3.2 billion dollars which is about where it was expected to be.
