Colin Craig is refusing to give up on the Conservative Party, saying he plans to elect a new board.
All but one of the board members quit last week, after Craig admitted he behaved "inappropriately" with a former press secretary and resigned as leader.
Now, Craig is sure plenty of people will step up to be part of a new board.
He's still keen on the leadership role for himself, but is consulting with party members to see if he has the support.
Craig is in negotiations to have a confidentiality agreement dropped entirely. He stands by his decision to breach some parts of the agreement in a press conference last week.
"I think it's quite reasonable to expect there to be at least balanced or some sort of level of fairness in the allegations and the information that's in the public domain," he said.Â
