Jacinda Ardern's been grilled over her party's Paid Parental Leave Bill in her first Question Time as Prime Minister.
She's been away at talks among world leaders in Vietnam and the Philippines since Parliament's opening early last week.
Deputy leader of the Opposition Paula Bennett questioned why Ms Ardern's Government voted down the National Party's amendment to the Bill.
But Ms Ardern responded saying any criticism on Paid Parental Leave is a bit rich, given Ms Bennett's Government vetoed this exact Bill last year.
"I think that it's disappointing given the vehemency the Member is showing, that she didn't the use opportunity when in government to pursue this issue."
