Police have more questions than answers in the case of a Northland woman missing without a trace.

Forty-nine-year-old Leean Scott disappeared on December 12 last year in Cable Bay

Police have yet to find any clues as to her whereabouts.

Detective Sergeant Trevor Beatson says, after three months with no sign of the woman, there are obviously serious concerns for her wellbeing.

Extra staff have been called in and are going door to door in the Cable Bay and Taipa areas in search of more information.

The last time the 49-year-old was seen she walking along State Highway 10 in Cable Bay.
