Sets of the five official flags selected for this year's postal referendum are available for communities to fly in the lead-up to the vote.
People will be able to rank the flags in order of preference between the 20th of November and the 11th of December.
There'll be another referendum in March next year to decide whether we'll keep the current flag or change it.
The Flag Consideration Panel says it's an ideal opportunity for people to see the alternatives in real-life situations and consider their symbols, colours and meaning.
Panel chair Professor John Burrows said the flags are available for those who can fly them close together on five separate flag poles that can be seen from one location.
