Victoria University is getting rid of its Karori campus.
The university's council has declared the campus surplus to requirements.
There are 20 buildings on the 3.7 hectare site, and the Faculty of Education that was there moved to the Kelburn campus earlier this year.
Vice-Chancellor Professor Grant Guilford said the campus has long been a subject of debate because of it's distance from the other main campuses.
He said they'll now start the process to dispose of the campus.
