There are calls for the government to find a way for school disputes to be resolved outside of the court room.
The Post Primary Teachers' Association fears more coaches and teachers will walk away from their jobs following the St Bede's rowing debacle.
President Angela Roberts says she's not surprised the school's top coaches have confirmed they're not going to return for another year.
"Suddenly the consequences of being responsible for children are becoming quite large.
"It would be really disencouraging if the government didn't find a way of solving these problems without them have to end up in court."
