A win for the service sector unions, with zero-hour contracts now gone from all the main fast food operators.
Unite Union has managed to get McDonalds on board, joining Restaurant Brands in culling the controversial arrangements.
FIRST Union is happy to see them go, but says there's still a battle ahead.
Secretary Robert Reid says there are worse contracts to be on.
"We still really have a problem with low hours contracts, that is if a worker is only getting six or seven hours contract work and then actually having to wait around to see if they've got other hours to make that up."
