The Selwyn District Council has taken another step toward plan changes designed to help the area cope with a predicted population boom.
Rolleston's population is expected to grow from 12,000 to around 20,000 by 2030, while it's thought Lincoln's population will double from 5000 to 10,000 in the same time frame.
