Business owners and staff in Rotorua's town centre are rolling up their sleeves and scrubbing the city today.
It's Scrub Rotorua Day which encourages people to water blast, clean and polish their shops and businesses to keep the city looking sharp.
Rotorua District Council spokesman Mike Steiner says it's the second year the project's been running.
He says it's an opportunity for business people to get alongside their neighbours and tidy up.
