The Ministry for Primary Industries is recalling batches of mince from Pak'nSave as the mince may contain traces of soft plastic.

The NZ beef mince affected was packed on December 14 and has a best before date of December 17.

It will affect all sizes and was sold at Pak'nSave Papakura and should not be eaten.

No other Pak'nSave products are affected by the recall.

There have been no reports of injury, however if it has been consumed people are asked to seek medical advice.

Customers should return the products to Pak'nSave Papakura for a full refund.
