New Zealand can make impact on climate change

While it's true that New Zealand's a tiny part of the climate change problem we can still make an impact by standing up on the issue.

The question's being asked if there's any point in our small nation going to climate change talks in Paris.

Victoria University expert Ralph Chapman told Larry Williams you can take any group of four and a half million people and say what they do isn't significant.

"If it's a country and it's standing up at the talks saying 'look, we're four and a half million people, we're a country and we're committed to doing something' then we'll have an impact and we'll help to draw others along."
