An ad saying Libra sanitary products "absorb way more than you did in maths class" has been deemed sexist and demeaning.

The Advertising Standards Authority has upheld two complaints about the ad which was posted in female bathrooms at malls and cinemas.

The complainants say it insults women's intelligence, is demeaning and reinforces a sexist stereotype that women aren't proficient at maths.
