Jet fuel crisis 'over'

Jet fuel supplies at Auckland Airport have been replenished, as the school holidays begin.

The pipeline running from Marsden Point to Wiri will operate at 80 percent capacity for the rest of the year after it was damaged by a digger.

Mobil's Andrew McNaught says fuel is being trucked in to boost supplies.

He's confident travellers won't see any problems, and there shouldn't be any fuel-related flight cancellations.

"We've worked really getting the jet [fuel] back into Auckland Airport.

"Jet is being prioritised in terms of the product going down the pipeline so the airport is fully stocked from a jet perspective."

McNaught says fuel is also being trucked in to boost supplies.
