The findings of an independent investigation into the death of a man while in police custody, is expected to be released tomorrow.
The Independent Police Conduct Authority's been investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of Sentry Taitoko on February 23 last year.
The 20-year-old, had been arrested and taken into a police cell to detox, after police were called to a disturbance at a South Auckland address.
A doctor had been called in to assess him, but was unable to do so because of his aggressive behaviour.
The authority's expected to release its findings into the case, as well as a second generic report on the way in which police deal with prisoners.
