Police are reinforcing the "stranger-danger" message after a Hamilton girl's narrow escape.
The 12-year-old girl was almost abducted when a man pulled her into his car as she was walking past.
Fortunately she escaped as he walked around the car-front to get into the driver's seat.
Police are appealing for sightings of a medium-built Caucasian man aged between 45 to 50, driving a dark blue, four-door car with dents in the rear.
Police are urging parents to discuss the stranger-danger risk with their children.
