Greenpeace has launched its new protest boat Taitu this morning from Napier.
It's being sent out to confront the world’s biggest seismic blasting ship, the 125-metre long Amazon Warrior, which is searching for oil off the Wairarapa Coast.

Greenpeace New Zealand crowdfunded nearly $100,000 in seven days to buy the the 15-metre vessel.
