People going to the cricket today are being asked not to take fruit to eat.
An eighth Queensland fruit fly was discovered in the Auckland suburb  of Grey Lynn yesterday.Â

Pipfruit New Zealand is one of three growers associations asking fans not to take fresh fruit and vegetables into Eden Park.
The stadium is on the edge of the Queensland fruit fly control zone - which means the Ministry for Primary Industries will allow fruit in, but not out.
Pipfruit spokesman Alan Pollard says the best way to stop fruit leaving the control zone is to leave it at home.
"What we're doing is adding our support to the really good work that MPI and the rest of the team are doing on the ground."
The current scare is the fourth discovery of the fly in New Zealand since 2009, when 100-percent x-ray screening of bags at borders was stopped.
MPI Chief Operating Officer Andrew Coleman says it will be hard for fans to ignore what they can and can't do with their food.
"We think that if you are attending the game you'll either walk past an officer, be handed a pamphlet or hear the messaging that you are inside a restricted zone."
