UPDATED 8.44AM: Fog has caused disruption at Auckland Airport for a second day in a row.  

Ten domestic flights were delayed and seven were cancelled due to the fog, and two international flights were diverted to land at Wellington Airport.

Auckland Airport says the fog has now cleared enough to allow all remaining flights to resume as normal.

Yesterday the disruption was much worse, affecting a hundred flights.

Yesterday's fog caused delays and cancellations for 119 flights at Auckland Airport, including three international flights.

The poor visibility left 51 domestic flights were delayed, 64 domestic flights cancelled and one flight diverted to Wellington airport.

Three international flights were diverted to Wellington, from Nadi, Brisbane and Melbourne.
