Yet another Queensland fruit-fly has been caught within Auckland's containment zone, bringing the total to 11.
The first fruit fly was found three weeks ago.
The Ministry for Primary Industries says tests are being carried out on this latest fly but all others caught so far are genetically similar, suggesting they're dealing with a single, localised population that can be eradicated.
