Kim Dotcom's legal team is again trying to stall his extradition hearing over what they say is the introduction of 11th hour evidence.
US crown lawyer Christine Gordon is midway through wrapping up her case against Dotcom and three others.
She wants Kim Dotcom and three others extradited to the United States so they can face a raft of money-related charges over their website, MegaUpload.
Ms Gordon wants to introduce a new case document as part of her argument, but the defence yesterday raised an objection.
Dotcom and the three others are accused of a raft of money-related crimes for the file-sharing website MegaUpload, and the US wants them extradited to face those charges.
One of the group's lawyers objected to the US' announcement it would introduce new evidence, saying that it's a 'surprise', that they'd been 'ambushed' and they need time to look over it.
Judge Nevin Dawson asked the US to continue its closing address and is expected to make a decision on whether the extra case record is included today.
The hearing has already spanned ten weeks.
