Two people are dead and eleven others injured after a spate of smashes on Waikato roads over the weekend.
The first fatality happened on Friday night, when a man was killed after two cars collided in Matamata.
Four people in the other vehicle were injured, with two flown to Waikato Hospital.
On Saturday afternoon, a 55 year old lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into a bank in the Coromandel.
He later died in hospital.
Meanwhile, an elderly couple were airlifted to hospital and two other people left injured after a collision between two vehicles near Otorohanga yesterday morning.
And three people were flown to hospital in the afternoon, following another two-car crash on the lower Kaimai Ranges.
